Free Gift

A timeless combination of handwoven texture and functionality, our new Palm Fibre Table Runner will make a purposeful addition to your home styling.

Whether you're hosting a dinner party, a casual brunch, or simply want to elevate your everyday meals, our palm fibre table runner will transform any table setting. Its sturdy construction ensures it will withstand the test of time, while its neutral tone can be layered seamlessly in many decor styles.

Generous in size, this runner also offers versatility, allowing you to style it on a dining table, sideboard, console or coffee table. It not only protects your surfaces, but also serves as a beautiful centerpiece for placing dishes on during a meal or as a foundation for creating vignettes.

Each piece is created with utmost care, by artisans in a village community of Bangladesh. Highly skilled, they bundle kaisa grass and then weave and stitch fine strips of date palm fibre around the bundles to form each firm table runner. The women who make these pieces work from home and a genuine Fair Trade partnership ensures they are paid fairly for their time and skills, among many other benefits.

Looking to pair the Table Runner with other tableware or baskets made with same material and weave? Check out the Palm Fibre Collection page so you can mix and match pieces across the collection for a cohesive styling story in your home.

  • Length: 95cm
    Width: 35cm
    - Note: Minor variations in the size may occur due to the handmade production of this item.
  • - Hand harvested and bundled kaisa grass.
    - Fine strips of date palm fibre are wrapped around the kaisa grass as the table runner is woven into shape using a large needle.
  • - Our palm fibre table runners may lighten slightly as the fibre ages.
    - To clean, we suggest you shake or vacuum them to dislodge dirt or dust.
    - They are robust and will withstand some condensation however for heavier water-based spills, blot with kitchen paper or an absorbent cloth as soon as possible and allow them to dry. Do not rub stains or spills from your placemats as this may spread the stain and loosen the jute fibres. Please note that oil-based or brightly coloured spills may not be easily removed - we recommend trying the above methods with a gentle eco-friendly cleaner.
